ANGIE LARSON

Angie Larson - Singer and Keyboard Performer.  Her parents must have been very proud, because she performed in front of an audience at the age of eighteen months old with "Oh Happy Day".  Her father is a retired Baptist Minister.  She is the youngest of four children.

Angie learned to play the piano at the age of four.  By five years of age, Angie was the church pianist.  At the age of nine, she made her 1st professional appearance at Cousins Puds in Lorado, Mo.  When she was 15, she became a regular at the Union Mill Opry.  at the age of 17, she started perforing at Sundowners and stayed with them for seven years.  She also performed at Glens Opry on Friday night and became a regular at the North town Opry.  While Angie was in High School, she sang in the state choir and got scholoarships for college.  In college, she won the Missouri Music Teachers Association Opera Competition.  Her major was Bachelor of Science in Music Education with an emphasis in Opera Vocal Performance.  She currently teaches music at NKC School District.

She has opened and performed with:  Neal McCoy, Jim Glaser, Connie Smith, Porter Wagoner, Ronnie McDowell, Gene Watson, Exile, Cal Smith, Janie Fricke, and various other artists.

Angie's quote:  "I'm having a great time here at Middle Creek.  It is a pleasure to work with such talented musicians and a group of people that I truly consider my friends.  I feel that I am getting to know the audience and they are a wonderful group of people.  I appreciate their enthusiasm and their great attitude towards having a good time."

We feel that Angie is a very talented singer and musician.  Her story should be a great inspiration to all the young musicians that are just starting to perform.
